It is wonderful to see so many children around the school show their love of reading. The book I have enjoyed recently was Rumble Star – The Unmapped Chronicle by Adi Elphinstone. I enjoyed this book so much, that I then recommended it to a child in year 4, so we could share our thoughts on the book.
Adventures are unpredictable and often terribly badly behaved – a bit like pickled onions if you’ve ever tried to fork one on a plate – but they have a way of unlocking people and turning them upside down so that all the astonishing things fizzing around inside them start to tumble out…
